Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. Her birth name is Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986, in Hereford. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of the charts with her electro pop music after getting the attention of the world with "Starry Eyed," along with "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the top as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music and of independent, hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano voice as well as her knack for writing emotionally honest songs is what makes her distinct.
