Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio

Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was previously a supermodel, is now a film director. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her long-standing presence in the competitive film industry reflects her skills and talent as performer. In the 1970s, she began her modeling career. She quickly became one of the leading names in this field. After completing her acting studies Russo started her career as a model working in Los Angeles. Russo made her screen debut in ABCs drama series Sable in 1987, playing the role of Eden Kendell. Her debut film, Major League was released two years later. Russo portrayed Tom Berengers 'love interest. Critics, initially skeptical by her acting abilities, were eventually won over by her continuous performances. They were most impressed with her when she appeared in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she stood the line in the face of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. But, as per her own admissions, she never was passionate about the role. After a lengthy vacation, she self-imposed herself the role in 2005. Her comeback was a part in Thor. Also, she was in the Oscar winner film Nightcrawler which was directed by husband. Later, she would play in light-hearted comedies such as The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas was one of the top female athletes in the UFC. She started her professional career as an amateur athlete performing various regional competitions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And later she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Since joining the UFC the fighter has quickly been a household name thanks her achievements both in and out of the Octagon. Namajunas was born on June 29th, 1992, at Milwaukee Wisconsin. The fighter was raised by a Lithuanian family. While growing up, Rose was involved in sports such as basketball and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, she had her first professional fight at Invicta Fighting Championships where she took two wins via submission. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 at the age of 22, she signed her to fight as a strawweight for UFC. Rose has had extremes and lows throughout her career. However, she's always been a winner. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout in under three minutes Round One. Rose was also given the title of Fighter Of The Night and was a pioneer in the sport as it marked the first time a women had ever competed in a tournament within a major promotion organisation worldwide. Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this fight and was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
